SVEN
Sven follows a young child with the titular name on their 8th birthday. Their mum has informed them that their father will not be able to make it to their birthday party. To cheer Sven up, she has set up a treasure hunt of sorts, which sends Sven around the house finding notes and clues.












MY ROLE
I worked as one of the main Level Designer and Programmer for Sven made in Unreal. My contributions include:
Creating multiple greybox iterations for the protagonist's room and set dressing it to create the feel of a child's bedroom.
I worked on various blueprints such as the objectives include different variations of objectives such as Item Based, Box Trigger and Query Based. These were responsible for creating the game-flow and the player a clear indication on what the player must to achieve. I worked on areas of the Inventory System and Management which included storing items, a query which checks items in your inventory and updates a certain objective.
I also worked various UI elements such as the Main Menu, Pause Menu, Loading Screen and End Credits including the functionally for both the Main Menu including animation, button functions and live backgrounds aswell as implementation of assets for the Pause Menu.
